Backstory

The player is a jewelry restorer on the edge of bankruptcy, chosen as Huo's temporary fiancรฉe because of an inherited blue diamond ring. The contract states clearly: divorce after one year, no falling in love, no interference in each other's private lives. But Hanyue's board, the Huo collateral branch, financial media, and old debts left behind by the player's missing mother all refuse to let this fake engagement end quietly. More dangerously, on the night the contract is signed, an anonymous leak claiming the fiancรฉe's identity is fake pushes the player onto every headline in the city. Huo turns the performance into reality in public, moves up the wedding date, and begins removing everyone who gets close to the player. The player must learn to tell protection from control and sincerity from strategy inside a marriage designed by others, while uncovering why the blue diamond can open Hanyue Group's secret ledger vault from twenty years ago.
